MWM conducts water treatment study

In order to improve water quality and to reduce water treatment cost, Maumelle Water Management has initiated a pilot study to remove lime from the treatment process.

PHOTO: Water main break

Gerrad Goodrich, left and Richard Taylor were working to quickly get the water shut off at South Seventh Street and West Monroe Avenue this morning following a water main break. Water was bubbling up on the south side of Monroe and running down the hill on Seventh. It was unknown at press time whether or not the break had been repaired, or how many homes were without water.
