Downloads

Question by g:

Downloads?

On the suggestion/advice of someone here, I decided to try some downloads to help clean/speed-up my PC. Most of them I don't know how to use (or don't know if they are working) - and one in particular says I need to download a "torrent" or "bittorrent client". What the heck is that (?) - it seems like just more junk (yet another program) to have stored in my PC, clogging up, and taking up space.

Thx in advance - g.

Bittorrent isn't going to clean or speed up your PC. It's a legitimate program to help you share files on the internet. A torrent is a bittorrent file that tells where to find a certain file or files. If you're just trying to clean up your PC, you probably don't want it.
