Q&A: How do Dojo Loaches do with mystery snails?

Question by crymeariver: How do Dojo Loaches do with mystery snails?

I have a large Dojo Loach, and today I bought four mystery snails under the impression that only clown loaches eat them. I don't want to wake up to a tank of empty shells and one fat Dojo Loach please help.

Most loaches are snail eaters, but kuhli/coolie and dojo loaches never seem to do any harm. All the loaches do is hide all day or zip around really fast. When they zip they don't notice the snails at all. So I would think it is safe. Hope that helped!
